Mt. Zion's Music program is unique in may many ways, with music formation for even our youngest shining stars. By 4th grade, our students who choose to play an instrument attend instrumental class every day and perform multiple times per school year. By the time our children are in High School, they are collaborating for a variety of performances and competitions: marching band and color guard, pep band, jazz and concert band and even state and local opportunities.
We have several opportunities throughout the year to volunteer!
BINGO
Every 1st and 4th Sunday, our Band Boosters have the opportunity to work at the Mt. Zion Majestic Bingo Hall, raising funds for our student's band accounts and our great band program.
Our volunteers help to sell: 1. Bingo games at the windows as people come in the building to play, 2. Pull tab tickets at the window, and 3. Pull tab tickets on the floor (get your steps in!).
Earn $13/hour for your student's account if you can help out occasionally. Earn $15/hour if you can commit to one shift per month.
Can't work on a Sunday, but you still want to help? We can connect you with other Mt. Zion Booster Groups that are looking for help too.
Please contact Jamie Brumfield if you have questions about Bingo. Click here to sign up for a shift.
Concessions
Mt. Zion Families and Boosters Clubs have a big part in ensuring our events have ticket sellers and refreshments available to the crowds. Throughout the year, opportunities will come up when we need volunteers to work, earning money for their student's account. Click HERE to sign up for Fall Concessions. Band is in charge of popcorn at the concession stand. Students ARE able to work the concession stand. This is a great opportunity for them to help earn some money for their account.
